HOW THIS WORKS:

The four teams are made up of a total of six skaters—four pros and two ams.
Each team is given nine days in a warehouse with the same set of obstacles.
Each team is allowed one art director on site.
Each team is assigned one TWS photographer to shoot a feature article for the magazine.
Each team is allowed a film crew to produce a video for skateboarding.com.
The final photo and video product is judged by the TWS edit staff (minus S&C coordinators Skin Phillips and Josh Brooks) on the level of skating, creativity, the use of obstacles, and overall image and video quality.
The winner gets the cover of the magazine and will have a spot reserved in Skate & Create 2011.

TRICK TIPS HOW TO .... : Hardflips

Well i guess if u are reading this its because u want to learn how to hardflip right ? Well first of all Hardflips are NOT that hard so dont get intimidated by their name !

Actually hardflips are kinda easy if u know how to do them right , by the way a hardflip is a combination of a frontside shuvit and a kickflip just for u guys out there that didnt know that ;)

So foot position , lets think , if a hardflip is a combination of a Frontside shuvit and a kickflip ur foot should be in that position .

Ur back foot should be in a Frontside (fs) shuvit position and ur front foot like a kickflip but more to the middle of the board so u can give that flip more easily (image bellow)

1. Ride with some speed and with confidence, dont get distracted with some hot chick that is passing by ! Focus (ur name) Focus ... , also think u are Bryan Herman that helps alot .

Step 2 ! -» Jump up and when u feel light on the board do the motion of a FS shuvit with ur back foot and when the board is starting to turn give it a flick that will start the board spining .

The trick is to do like a scissors motion with ur feet , that is where most people mistake because they just push the board up and get nutted. oh oh poor posers, anyways after u have done step 2 ...

( Take ur feet out of the way and do a scissors motion , image bellow )

Step 3 ! -» step 3 consists on catching the board on the air , one of the problems with this trick is that the board does the flip right but the Fs shuvit motion only does 90º , u can solve that by catching it 90º and then turning the rest of the way but if u do the trick like that, it kinda looks ugly so just do the scissors motion with ur legs and the board will do the full rotation and u will land it with style .

Note : If u are landing ur hardflips with only 1 foot it means u just have to commit to the trick, put some heavy metal music and just land that sh*t ! (lol awsome advice)

After u have completed the 3 steps and landed the trick u can finally look at that hot chick , and dedicate her the hardflip .. oh yeah , she will probally want to make out with u after that .

And Ok after reading the most random and kinda stupid hardflip tricktip U are finally ready to hit the streets and get a letter to all of ur friends that get nutted every time they try to hardflip .

So take care and good luck ! and remember focus , focus ... and use the force that helps 2 if u are some kind of starwars geek . xD
